The Digital Workflow Coordinator is a key role that provides clinical support to dental professionals using Smile in a Box / Surgical Guide workflow, with a focus on guided implant surgery and digital treatment planning. This role helps onboard new users, improves confidence in digital workflows, and ensures successful treatment outcomes. In addition, the Digital Workflow Coordinator supports internal teams with clinical training, contributes to product launches, and strengthens collaboration between clinicians, labs, and Straumann’s digital services. This position will support the Straumann Thailand team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Serve as a clinical expert for guided surgery using Smile in a Box / Surgical Guide workflow, including implant planning, guide design, and prosthetic-driven treatment strategies.
- Support onboarding and case planning for dental clinics and surgical teams, ensuring efficient workflow adoption and high clinician satisfaction.
- Act as a second-level advisor on complex surgical cases, helping providers with treatment planning challenges and guide-related questions.
- Work closely with field-based sales and marketing teams to activate users, increase adoption of Smile in a Box / Surgical Guide workflow, and convert new clinicians.
- Participate in customer meetings (onsite and virtual) to train, guide, and reinforce best practices in digital implant planning and surgical execution.
- Train internal sales, customer service, and digital operations teams on Smile in a Box / Surgical Guide protocol, including indications, workflows, and troubleshooting.
- Support education initiatives by delivering webinars, workshops, and hands-on sessions focused on surgical guide workflows and digital planning.
- Contribute clinical insights for marketing content, case documentation, and product feedback.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on product improvements, clinical validation, and customer experience enhancements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new tools and workflows, and coordinate clinician feedback for continuous improvement.
- Help drive adoption of digital workflows that link surgical planning with final prosthetic restorations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of clinical experience in dentistry, with experience in implantology, surgical planning, or prosthetic restoration
- Experience using guided surgery tools and planning software (e.g., coDiagnostiX or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with digital workflows and surgical guide workflows
- Experience training or mentoring dentists or dental technicians
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving patient outcomes through digital solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer operations
- Based in Bangkok, Thailand
