Responsibilities
- Place booking with carrier/co-loaders.
- Utilize process monitors and workflows on daily basis in Oracle system.
- Provide exceptional services and ensure customer satisfaction, any exceptions need to be escalated on time.
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system and other customer specific systems.
- Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
- Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (shipping lines, trucking companies, and others)
- Overseas communications, timely responses emails and requests (internal and external)
- Scan and e-File relevant documents to overseas stations, agents and/or customers
- Sorting and filing of documents to prevent any backlog in paper administration.
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
- Ability to prioritize based on importance/urgency.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in freight forwarding experience is a must.
- Understanding of international freight documentation process, a plus
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) and prefer fluent in English speaking and Mandarin Chinese (HSK5-6 or business level if any)
- Problem solving skills.
- Good analytical and proactive mindset
- Have a sense of ownership and accountability.
