Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of dishes, with a focus on Southeast Asian cuisine and fusion meals.
- Design daily and seasonal menus that cater to students, staff, and guests, ensuring a diverse and balanced selection.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, purchasing, and cost control.
- Collaborate with management to enhance the café’s offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience working as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen
- Relevant educational qualifications will add an advantage.
- Basic understanding of kitchen management and food safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and creatively in a small team environment.
- Good communication skills in English and a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of international cuisines and fusion dishes.
- Experience in menu planning and cost-effective kitchen operations.
