The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

- Acquire new merchants to expand ShopeePay’s top-up and payment coverage
- Study new business opportunities and take actions
- Establish and maintain firm partnership relations
- Strategically plan timeline and coordinate with internal and external parties to launch
Main Responsibilities:
1. Strategic planning
- Research and understand new business concept to enhance overall service offerings
- Brainstorm and validate new business concept to develop a valid conclusion/proposal for
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Assess the financial viability of each project
- Identify business opportunities, create solutions and fact-based value proposals,
- Approach business partners to pitch ideas, collaborate, and follow through to establish
- Maintain close relationships with existing partners
- Introduce new business concepts and initiatives to internal parties, business partners,
- Coordinate with different teams including legal, marketing, finance, and tech to launch
- Monitor and push for correct and timely implementation of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Planning and Development is preferable
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation abilities
