Core Banking Delivery Lead (Business Consulting)
We are seeking a Core Banking Delivery Lead to spearhead the replacement of deposits and lending core banking system for a retail and commercial bank.
The candidate should have experience in Core banking engagements and hands on skills in managing delivery of similar large, complex projects, preferably in Thailand.
This role is the primary, on site, leadership position for EY as Systems Integrator and will serve as the day-to-day interface with the client’s Program Director, ensuring alignment across strategy, execution, and governance. It will be the accountable SI role managing overall delivery
Your key responsibilities:
- Client management: Act as client point of contact on all delivery matters. Liaise with project sponsors and key stakeholders to understand and ensure project alignment with business goals and objectives. Provide strategic advisory and drive key decisions and prioritization in line with program objectives.
- Communication: Provide timely and clear project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and fostering a collaborative environment to address challenges. Build and maintain a trusted relationship with the client’s Program Leads and Executive stakeholders.
- Provide guidance: Oversee and provide guidance delivery workstreams (business requirements, application and interface design, end-to-end testing, data migration, change management) to achieve delivery targets. Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical delivery, and vendor contributions.
- Delivery planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, ensuring timely and quality delivery of all project milestones. Support commercial and contractual obligations including scope control, change requests, and financial tracking.
- Delivery management: Accountable for overall project delivery (e.g. quality, client satisfaction, budget) of the project. Oversee delivery governance, including steering committee reporting, RAID management, and milestone tracking. Proactively explore and implement improvements to drive efficiency and ensure adherence to program timelines and quality standards.
- System transition: Plan and oversee the transition from the existing core banking system to the new system, ensuring a seamless migration process.
Essential Qualifications:
- Thai nationality / Thai native only
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in core banking system implementation, with a focus on retail and commercial banking.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale transformation projects and leading cross-functional team including multi vendor relationships.
- Proven track record as a Delivery Lead or Program Manager in a Systems Integrator or Consulting environment.
- Deep understanding of core banking platforms, architecture principles, and integration patterns.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies & tools plus agile delivery models and cloud native architectures.
