About the Role
Responsible for determining the acceptance and the associated rates and benefits of the insurance applications based on guidelines set for the issuance of AIA insurance policies- Apply standard rates and calculate premiums on new businesses and renewals
- Assess risk and pricing to maximise economic profit and value
- Ensure underwriting policies, procedures and guidelines are in compliance with AIA's values and standards
- Build and develop, implement, and maintain AIA's underwriting policies and standards
- Build and develop and deliver functional / technical training in underwriting related areas
- Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth.
