We're looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems for hyperscale and enterprise data center construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring power delivery, redundancy, and efficiency align with the highest standards of safety and performance.Job Description
About the Role:
- Oversee the electrical design process from schematic through construction phases
- Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure technical excellence
- Perform power system calculations (load analysis, fault current, arc flash, coordination studies)
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC), and data center design best practices
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and participate in technical RFIs
- Support the commissioning process, witness testing, and oversee energization activities
- Contribute to innovation in energy efficiency, backup systems, and automation strategies
- Manage electrical scope of work, budgets, and schedule for multiple construction sites
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years focused on data center or mission-critical infrastructure
- PE license or equivalent is a plus
- Strong understanding of medium and low-voltage systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, BMS, and SCADA
- Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to travel to construction sites as needed
