Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement the group purchasing strategy and policies and ensure that formal processes are Homogeneously and diligently implemented across Thailand, China, and India.
- Lead, organize, and coach sourcing and procurement professionals across the organization to align the team with the group objectives.
- Manage the vision, strategy, planning, and control of all procurement activities for the yearly spend of 800 MB for both direct and indirect spend
- Direct the day-to-day Management of the Thailand sourcing and procurement team (6 lead buyers)
- Manage the sourcing team at Group Level (China and India)
- Manage Sourcing activities at the group level and implement best practices at the site for cost reduction through cross-fertilization of ideas from sites in China, India, and Thailand
- Develop and manage a vibrant and sustainable supply base worldwide (Europe, USA, and Asia) and reduce our dependency on China
- Responsible for developing and leading sourcing initiatives for targeted product categories. This will involve performing complex data analysis to identify new sourcing and other cost optimization opportunities in order to generate cost savings for categories managed
- Manage contract review/negotiation with existing/new suppliers and obtain best terms (quality, price, quantity, delivery) to meet the current and future requirements.
- Ensure that the company values are lived within the procurement team and its interaction with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Preparing procurement reports by collecting, analyzing, calculating, compiling, and summarizing information.
- Set the goals and KPIs for the procurement team and ensure their effective execution and delivery.

Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing & Operational Procurement activities
- at least 8 to 10 years of experience in managing a team
- Experience in metal, steel fabrication, or construction is an advantage
- Willing to travel and visit suppliers
- Knowledge of strategic procurement.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy (MRP, ERP exposure a plus)
