Sevice Engineer is responsible for managing medical equipment to perform smoothly such as hardware and software service support, technical application, recall, troubleshooting activities and field safety corrective action in order to maintain full functionality of our equipment being by various hospital.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
- Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. Keep performance and maintenance records on the equipment.
- Provide guidance and training to customer in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
- Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
- Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations.
- May participate in installation planning phase.
- Ensure excellent customer relations through effective communication of all services provided, timely notifications of on-site arrival times, prompt updates in case of delays, clear communication of service and operator issues, and consistently presenting a positive attitude towards the company, products, employees, and customers. Adhere to proper business appearance standards as defined by service management.
- Effectively manage company assets to include computer, consignment stock parts inventory, test equipment and tools.
- Ensure accurate service documentation, preventive maintenance, service order, recall, field safety corrective action and mandatory upgrade record for medical equipment and that system are maintained.
- Ensure that all required training certificates are up-to-date and valid to maintain compliance and regulations.
- Service contracts promoted.

Your experience includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Science, Industrial Physics and Medical Instrumentation or related field.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in a service-repair field, preventive maintenance or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Ability to prepare detailed service reports and documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customer and provide training on equipment use.
- Computer skills are essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and good communication skills in Thai.
In this role, you are required to travel to customer site domestically.
