All about the role:
The Senior Planner will be responsible for strategic planning of Spare Parts, Consumables & Accessories to support our growing aftermarket business and document and enhance processes for the same. You will be working in a team based at our office in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is primarily focused on planning and ordering of material within our internal flows, adapting orders to variable demand while maintaining key KPI’s surrounding availability, inventory and freight costs.

So as a planner for the aftermarket, your negotiation and relationship building skills will be critical to the continued flow of materials to our new and existing customers and consumers.
What you'll do:
You will ensure that we have the right material at the right place at the right time and in those odd cases where that is not possible, keep all stakeholders well informed while working on solutions and improved lead-times. Developing and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders and continuously enhance stockholding policies & forecasts to reflect the latest demand patterns. You study order behaviors and drive improvements in the daily processes and as a senior planner you will also ensure they are adequately documented.
In detail, you will:
Management of inventory planning for multiple warehouses/countries, with main source of supply from internal flows
Plan inventory and purchase orders strategically by leveraging all aspects of the planning tool and stockholding policies
Proactively avoid shortages through Risk of run-out process
Communicate availability dates (ETA/ETD) with all relevant stakeholders
Coordinate ad hoc stock-ups for sales promotions or quality campaigns in your warehouse of responsibility
Planning of initial stock for new product launches
Manage planning related master data
Timely updates of performance indicators and actively plan corrective actions to reach targets
Continuously improve the ways of working
Drive the centralized planning strategy by ensuring processes are improved, added or removed with clearly quantified results
Own the process documentation and ensure all changes are reflected adequately
Lead Kitting Process planning and Kitting Master by coordinating with Master Data team and warehouse operations
Analyze the result for the KPIs of your Countries' responsibility on a regular basis and take proactive actions to improve them
Analyze on the Inventory Buyback process (from Countries to Central Distribution Center) when is required
Act as Customer Service of Northeast Asia Countries (Japan, China, Taiwan and Korea) to be ready for Centralize Planning in next year plan
Work closely with IT team (SAP) including system testing as a project member to fix and close all issues related to Order Management and Spares Planning to avoid repeating problem
Create WI (Working Instruction) for all SAP Transactions which is used for Spares Planning at Central Distribution Center and Countries. (Planning, Order Intake, Invoicing, Master Data, Report, etc..) together with Day-to-Day operations in the Demand Planning team
Ensuring that logistics cost billing from Suppliers is billed timely and accuracy
Qualifications:
University Degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 -7 years of relevant work experience in material planning, purchasing or inventory management
Equipped with strong communication and negotiation skills, you are expected to get your message across to different levels of an organization both internally and externally
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, strong Excel skills
You enjoy working in a team environment and understand how your individual work contributes to the overall teamwork
SAP experience is considered and advantage
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

You will be based in our Bangkok Office and report to Spares & C&A Planning Manager.
