Role Purpose
To assist in all sales activities and provide personalized service to travel agents e.g., 80 agents and execute strategies to meet the targeted revenue.
Key Accountability
- To sell products and promotions prepared by Revenue Management and monitor the sales of travel agents, by providing service and support related to FIT (Free Independent Traveller) and groups movement, conducting product briefings.
- To participate actively in travel trade and consumer fairs.
- To collect insights regarding OALs (Other Airlines) strategy and analyse sales data from Business Intelligence and perform quarterly review with all account coverage.
- To be liaison between Travel Trade and relevant Malaysia Airlines Business Unit (revenue management, airport operation and customer service) in resolving problems arise from daily operation.
- To develop and strengthen networking with the key decision makers within the Travel Agencies, including organizing MH related events and activities.
Key Challenges
- To maintain revenue growth from travel agencies to meet company objective and target.
- To maintain Malaysia Airlines market share under current stiff competition from OALs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Business/ Economics, Tourism Management
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of Airline functions and key activities including ticketing and reservation.
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Good in Microsoft Application (Excel, Words and Power Point)
- Team players and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willing to work out of office hours and during weekends.
- Good communication skills language verbal/written in English is a must to communicate with client/passengers worldwide.

Pay: ฿40,000.00 - ฿65,000.00 per month
