Purpose of role:
This role will be responsible for local market quality support for locally manufactured products, development and maintenance of QA documentation and procedures, support the market NPD and product changes, Quality Audits, and support on the incoming delivery of finished goods, including consumer Quality complaints and Pharmacovigilance reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and release local manufactured finished goods against product specification.
- Review certificate of analysis against product specification.
- Review / Audit Batch records from manufacturers.
- Control release status of products in Blackmores business system.
- Advise manufacturers of Approval to release. (Release for Supply function)
- Maintain local Quality batch documentation and retention samples.
- Assess and resolve product issues with the local manufacturer.
- Generating and managing NCRs (non-conforming reports) for local supplier issues.
- Co-ordinate local laboratory testing as required.
- Support Product Quality Improvement Process with local manufacturers.
- Perform on-site audits on local market or regional manufactures as directed.
- Perform on-site audit on regional raw material manufacturers as directed.
- Liaise with Product Quality on NPD and product changes to existing products.
- Assist with Product Specification Approval and Product Change Control, including label checking.
- Maintain and develop local market QA Documentation (processes and procedures).
- Liaise with the local regulator for Quality related issues as directed or required.
- Assist with counterfeit and product tampering queries and assessments.
- Provide local market recall support.
- Provide support and backup for functions performed by the Quality Manager in other locations as directed.
- Manage and resolve warehouse / distribution issues and compliance, via NCRs.
- Attend the Distribution centre to assist in resolving product quality issues
- Log and report Customer Complaints and Product Safety Issues into Blackmores business systems. Assist with follow up support as directed.
Who are you?
- Bachelor degree / Tertiary Education in relevant science field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding and knowledge of GMP/ Quality System and it’s application
- Strong writing skills in Technical / SOP writing
- Software Applications - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Enterprise One, Access, SharePoint
- Proficiency in both Thai & English is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic thinking and executional skills, capable of building for simplicity, scale and repeatability
- A team player with strong skills in the areas of influencing, motivation, relationship building, and communication.
