What makes you remarkable?
- Ensure that the quality of construction works implemented in accordance to project’s requirement and standards
- Coordinates and participate in meeting with Subcontractors /OWNER’s representatives to resolves quality related issues
- Performs daily site patrol surveillance to prevent and to know site quality problems
- Attends quality control’s walkthrough with OWNER / Subcontractors
- Issue quality non-conformance report (NCR) and preventive action request (PAR) to construction team and Subcontractors
- Inspection of materials and review of material certification prior to delivery to fabricators/manufacturers where required
- Witness / review of testing activities in compliance with Inspection and test plan requirements
- Verification that appropriate approvals are in place prior to commencement of specific works (e.g. weld procedures are approved, welder certification, etc.)
- Review and endorsement of quality records raised as an output from fabrication/manufacturing and installation processes
- Generation of inspection and progress reports as required
- Report any inspection deficiencies and queries to project quality team
- Provide support to as-building processes and handover for completions
- Performs internal quality control audit to Subcontractors and construction team following construction progress
- Diploma, bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Welding, or related field with Minimum 10 years of experience in QAQC position
- Inspection certificate in relevant disciple (e.g. welding/electrical/mechanical) from recognised industry or national body (essential)
- Radiographic interpretation certificate (piping welding inspectors only – desirable)
- Quality auditor qualification by recognised industry body (desirable)
- Good coordination with all disciplines and driving ability with each discipline on quality of the work
- Good team leadership in technical, interpersonal and communication skill
- Ability to identify issues, obtains relevant information, relate and compare data from different sources and identify alternative solutions
- Good English language communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with multiple reporting priorities
- Willing to work extended hours including weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
