RESPONSIBILITIES
- CORE RESPONSIBILITY
Production
- Manage and motivate a small team of production, EHS and maintenance staffs.
- Conduct incoming QC (IQC) and outgoing finished goods quality.
- Manage the color blending production processes.
- Develop productive goals.
- Communicating and providing solution to the challenges impacting production.
- Evaluating machine, tools and equipment to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Ensuring all safety and health standard are met to keep an organization accident-free.
- Close communicate with R&D team on the new product performance.
- Conduct internal product troubleshooting and provide solution.
- Ensure lab tools and equipment are well maintenance and operate.
- Work with R&D on the new FG code setup.
EHS
- Responsible for the daily management of the facilities’ engineering and maintenance; carry out continuous improvement and target achievement in safety, quality, service, cost, and capacity improvement together with the team.
- Initiation or expansion of production and other projects with large investment: according to the development needs of the company, cooperate with other units and departments to complete various large-scale engineering projects delivered by leaders on time and with good quality.
- Improvement projects: According to the production requirements, complete the technical renovation projects delivered by the leader, and support the improvement of the production process.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; Identify, develop, and gather the resources necessary to complete the project. This may include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.
- Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team. Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
- Be responsible for the safety management, to make sure the site / facility be following the national, local governments and SW's requirements. Maintain good communication with SAWS to implement group HSE policy to ensure the site / facility practices meet the group HSE strategy.
To overall supervise the running of EHS system, to improve HSE system by develop training, coaching and supervision programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- FORMAL EDUCATION:
- Required:
- Candidate much possess at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
- EHS experience
- Preferred:
- KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Required:
- Minimum 8 years’ of relevant working experience in production & EHS. Preferably with experience in coating industry.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge in waterborne and solvent borne wood coating will be an advantage.
- Able to work closely with R&D, technician on the problem identification and solution skills. Have a good oral and written communication in English and Chinese will be an added advantage.
