Description:
We are seeking two experienced on-site freelance Mandarin Chinese Simultaneous Interpreters to support our upcoming business events.
The ideal candidates will be highly skilled, reliable, and able to deliver professional simultaneous conference interpretation in large, high-pressure environments.
Requirements:Language Skills:
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker (from China or Taiwan).
- Familiarity with Mainland Chinese terminology is required.
- Proficiency in English; an American accent is appreciated but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional simultaneous interpretation experience.
- Proven background in providing interpretation services for large-scale business events.
- Demonstrated success in providing services for large-scale, high-profile business events with audiences ranging from hundreds to thousands of participants.
- Previous experience with freight, logistics operations, and business strategies to ensure accurate interpretation of industry-specific terminology.
- Ability to handle dynamic event settings, including rapid-fire panel discussions, technical presentations, and executive keynotes.
Technical Setup:
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum upload/download speed standards preferred) to hold a greet and meet meeting with us.
- High-definition camera.
- Professional-grade headset and microphone to ensure clear audio quality.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex, etc.).
- Backup power or internet solutions to minimize disruptions during live interpretation.
Other Requirements:
- Location: This is an on-site interpretation event in Pattaya, Thailand.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) required.
