ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of HDD manufacturing software applications using C#.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to manage and manipulate data in MS SQL databases.
- Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards.
- Document software functionality and technical processes.
- Software deployment and evaluation of users’ feedback.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Work in a team with minimum supervision on a tight project deadline.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- BSc (Hons) in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge in C#.NET, VB.NET, and LINQ
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Understanding of development to support abstract factory pattern with an object-oriented app approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server
- Experience in DevOps (CI/CD)
- Familiar with containerized development (aka the Docker approach) and microservices architecture
PREFERRED:
- Interested in manufacturing-related environment
- Knowledge of other programming languages or frameworks
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Good in preparing test cases and executing test plan
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Experience in AI/ML implementation is optional
- Possess full-stack development skills
SKILLS:
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal).
- Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relational skills to develop a good relationship within the organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment
