The Data Center Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems within data center facilities.
This role ensures that all mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling, and plumbing, operate efficiently and effectively to support the critical infrastructure of the data center. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center operations and energy efficiency.
• Design and oversee the installation of mechanical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and cooling systems tailored for data center environments.
• Conduct thermal load calculations and system sizing to ensure optimal performance and reliability of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure mechanical designs meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
