Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading all marketing activities and campaigns for the shopping mall, with the goal of increasing customer footfall, boosting tenant sales, and strengthening brand presence in alignment with corporate marketing policies. This role involves strategic planning, campaign execution, team leadership, and performance analysis, while ensuring effective cross-departmental collaboration and operational efficiency.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans to drive foot traffic, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Identify customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to support data-driven strategies.
- Mall Events & Activation Campaigns
- Plan and execute high-impact mall events, seasonal promotions, and experiential marketing campaigns that attract visitors and support tenants’ business objectives.
- Work closely with leasing and operations teams to align events with tenant mix and zone activation plans.
- Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing strategies including social media, influencer collaborations, email marketing, content creation, and SEO/SEM campaigns.
- Monitor online reputation and engage actively with the mall’s digital community.
- Tenant Relations & Support
- Develop cooperative marketing initiatives with tenants, such as joint promotions and loyalty programs.
- Provide marketing toolkits and support materials to enhance tenants' sales performance.
- Customer Engagement & Loyalty
- Design customer loyalty programs, shopper database growth campaigns, and personalized CRM strategies to enhance repeat visits and brand loyalty.
- CSR & Sustainability Integration
- Lead or support CSR and sustainability initiatives, such as eco-friendly campaigns, community partnerships, and educational events.
- Ensure all marketing communications reflect the mall’s commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
- Brand Management & Positioning
- Ensure consistency in branding across all media and in-mall visuals.
- Elevate the mall’s brand image through curated content, PR initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Manage, mentor, and motivate the marketing team to operate cohesively and productively.
- Promote a collaborative work culture and continuously improve internal systems for effective workflow.
- Budget & Performance Management
- Plan and control the marketing budget efficiently.
- Track campaign performance using KPIs and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management.
- Retail & Industry Trend Monitoring
- Stay updated on retail, lifestyle, and consumer trends to keep marketing strategies relevant and competitive.
- Crisis Communication & Issue Management
- Manage marketing communications during crises or emergencies to safeguard public image and reassure stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing or any related field
- At least 3-5 years experience in the marketing field (retail business is an advantage).
- Ability to create marketing planning and execution in campaign activities, advertisement, sales promotion, digital & online marketing
- Strong in inter-personality and leadership skill
- Computer literacy and good command of written and spoken English
