Job Description
As a Junior Legal Adviser, you are expected to undertake the following activities and tasks:
- Provide legal advice regarding M&A, corporate and commercial issues, including in respect of investments into Thailand. This may include due diligence, research, drafting and negotiating transactional agreements and liaising directly with clients.
- Conduct legal research on various subjects.
- Coordinate with the government authorities and communicate with team and client on updating progress of works.
- Provide general legal assistance to other lawyers in the office and other tasks reasonably associated with the foregoing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of laws (LL.B.) or a Master of laws (LL.M.)
- 1-4 years of experience with international law firm or multinational company
- Proficient in both spoken and written Thai and English.
- Strong practical knowledge of the Thai legal system
- Able to work under pressure and time constraint
- Be enthusiastic person and effective team member
- Position will be based in Bangkok and may require occasional travel up-country.
