ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capable of developing and deploying data science solutions to support analytics and digital transformation initiatives
- Develops projects to monitor and analyze trends in HDD, Head, and Media parametric performance
- Creates solutions to support failure analysis by identifying possible causes using machine learning or other analytical tools
- Develops tools to automate the qualification result analysis of head, media, and code
- Supports yield improvement and reliability tracking for HDD
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer science, or a related field
PREFERRED:
- Time management and project execution
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency; internship period must be at least 4-6 months
SKILLS:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Big Data platforms, AWS Redshift, etc.
- Familiar with some of the following Statistical Analysis & Modelling Tools: JMP, Minitab, SPSS, Enterprise Miner, Enterprise Guide, SAS coding
- Knowledge or experience with data visualization methods
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and ability to work well with people
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
