Syntegon Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. located in Bangkok is the regional Service-HUB, approximately 50 colleagues (Sales, Technical Support and Field Service) are devoted to supporting our customers in SEA, South Korea, Pakistan and Australia / New Zealand.
We are expanding our Engineering team in Asia Pacific. The growing business and additional responsibilities require an extended team of motivated and experienced internal sales colleagues. In this role, you will interact daily with colleagues from various countries.

Job Description
-Perform general Field Service activities on site including preventative maintenance, machine overhauls, machine inspections with spare part recommendations, fault finding and line performance optimization.
· Supporting the assembly and testing of new machines at our manufacturing sites around the globe up to FAT (where necessary).
· Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machines at the customers’ site up to SAT. Providing customer training and updating of the technical documentation.
· Giving the customers technical advice on site or via remote support. Clarifying problems and solutions with the manufacturing plants where necessary.
· Recommending service products for technical / performance improvements including overhauls, modernizations, modifications and spare-parts replacement.
· Preparing all necessary tools, equipment and technical documentation before going to site. Attending customer meetings at the beginning and end of an intervention. Clearly logging your daily activities on a site report. Summarizing what has been completed and any open items still to be addressed. Following up on any open topics until closed to the customers’ satisfaction.
· Additional role of a Senior FSE: Performing site management. Supervision and training of other Field Service Engineers.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mechatronics or related field.
· Working experience in the Pharma / Packaging industry (6 years, Senior 8-10 years)
· Good verbal communication and written English skills.
· PLC / HMI software experience in Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Elau or Rexroth.
· Willingness to work overseas and travel up to 80% in the Asia Pacific Region.
