Sales & Business Development:
- Proactively solicit new event business through various channels, including cold calling, networking, site inspections, and industry events.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue goals.
- Prepare compelling proposals, contracts, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
- Conduct site inspections and product presentations to showcase the hotel's event facilities and services.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate closely with the Banquet, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Oversee all aspects of event planning, including room setups, audiovisual requirements, food and beverage selections, and special requests.
- Ensure all event details are communicated accurately and efficiently to relevant departments.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and event information in the system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and other hotel activities as required.
