About the Role
In the role of Equipment (SMT Backend) Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within our Automotive Division. You will be responsible for production SMT Backend equipment development, maintenance, improvement, which are included whole product manufacturing process. You will work closely with cross department for problem solving, process improvement and cost saving.
What You Will Do
- Lead and coordinate initial equipment transfer, new equipment purchase & installation and all other auxiliary equipment installation and implementation.
- Work with global team for new project and SMT Backend improvement.
- Work with AME and /or other function staff to achieve successful equipment installation and commission ready for line process /equipment validation run.
- Prepare and effective implementing preventive maintenance program for all equipment – Reflow Oven / AOI / Wave & Selective solder / Autoinsert / Conformal Coating / Depanel machine
- Continuous to drive and lead to improve machine performance to attain high first-pass yield, lower production scrap and optimize machine utilization rate.
- Participates to implement and maintain ISO/IATF16949 quality system.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing / Industry / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
- Experience: Five years or more experience in EMS electronic manufacturing as Process/ Equipment engineer. Be strong communicator and excellent team builder. Good Experience in ISO/IATF16949 quality system, Lean manufacturing, new product launch.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Language skill: English (read, oral and write)
- Be familiar with process flow, PFMEA and CP
- Be familiar with Reflow Oven / AOI / Wave & Selective solder / Autoinsert / Conformal Coating / Depanel machine
- SPC, DOE analysis tool experience and ability
- Be familiar with ISO/IATF16949 quality system and TPM system
- Ability for mechanical structure design and analysis.
- Communication skill and good leadership, fair mind, strong sense of responsibility
