Job Description
The commercial systems coordinator (Trainee) will be responsible for the setup, configuration and maintenance of our hotels and products in central systems and distribution channels and provide the first level support according to the global commercial strategy and standard operating procedures.
Minor employees always find new ways to look after the business, our guests, and our colleagues. The key duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
1. Activation/De-activation of properties in CRS and Distribution Channels
- Support OPMS installation and activation of new opening properties from the commercial perspective securing brand standards and following the commercial strategy of Minor Hotel Group.
- Assist in configuration of the Opera applications, CRS, Channel Managers and channel extranets and undertake checks for systems match between the different systems and applications.
2. Room & Rate Configuration
- Assist hotels with the loading of rates across all core systems and applications & distribution channels as part of the centralized rate loading project.
- Ensure all rates comply with brand standards and commercial strategy.
- Ensure Room category and Room type configuration as per brand standards and correct synchronization and alignment across all offline and online channels.
- Assist in coordinating hotel content and descriptions for all properties and perform regular checks.
- Perform test reservations and configuration audits on a regular basis
3. Profiles
- Ensure the continual consolidation of individual profile in Opera Customer Information System (OCIS).
- Ensure that suspended individual profile comply with SOP
Qualifications
- Studying in business administration, tourism or any related field
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable with proactively learning new technologies
- Enjoy working in a diverse culture
- A self-motivated, strong team player, able to work under pressure
