DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
As Channel Account Manager, you will manage a list of customers and drive growth within
the channel. This role is ideally suited to salesperson that needs to take the next step in their
career.
This role will report to Sales Director
As the Channel Account Manager you will:
- Manage relationships with channel partners.
- Drive growth within existing partners and develop additional opportunities within the channel.
- Ensuring partners are engaged, familiar, and leveraging our initiatives that will assist with growth.
- Working with our marketing department on campaigns for partners.
- Setting up new channel partners and overseeing the onboarding process.
- Identifying and reaching out to new potential channel partners.
- Working on cross selling opportunities within the organization.
- Working closely with PMs, marketing and support team.
- Giving feedback to PMs and marketing team on the success of the channel marketing program.
- Present weekly sales forecast report (update Netsuite).
- Quotation the partners, take ownership of project along sales cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Channel Account Manager
- At least 3 years working in the IT Industry, or similar.
- Experience with the sales process and ideally tele-sales experience, including pipeline creation, forecasting and developing opportunities to close, ideally within the IT industry.
- Experience selling Cyber Security and Cloud services would be highly regarded.
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally and collaborate and network effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills and an ability to understand and articulate both business benefits and technical advantages of the products and solutions.
- Self-motivated, independent and a strong desire to learn.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
