Position:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Business Development Manager to lead and expand our domestic sugar business in Thailand. This role will focus on managing and growing our sugar flows from local mills to key domestic buyers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Thai sugar industry, with an established network, deep market knowledge, and the ability to drive commercial growth.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and manage domestic sugar trade flows from Thai sugar mills to key buyers within the country.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers (sugar mills), domestic end users, and industrial clients.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new buyers and value-added supply chain solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and flows.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and regulatory changes in the Thai sugar market to inform strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the growth strategy and commercial success of our business in Thailand.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:
- Proven experience in the Thai domestic sugar market or broader agricultural commodities sector.
- Established relationships with key players in the sugar value chain, including mills and buyers.
- Strong understanding of Thai sugar market dynamics, regulations, and logistics.
- Commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
- Fluent in Thai and proficient in English.
