Purpose of role:
This position offers a diverse set of responsibilities with the purpose of working alongside with senior managements on actual, forecast and budget planning by providing financial information and converting data into meaningful analysis for decision makers using tools such as TM1, Power BI, Excel spreadsheets and various Business Intelligence tools and take the lead in managing the financial reporting of monthly business results and business development projects to assure that management has high quality information for business decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Budget Planning
- Support annual budget process, including preparation of timetable, communication to business and monitoring of deliverables
- Determine budget assumptions and communicate budget guidance to the business Review and analyse draft budget submissions of each department for reasonableness and compliance with guidelines
- Support strategic group initiatives with data and analysis to measure EBITDA growth across different business unitss
Month End and Performance Reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial reports for management and parent company, including board packs, profitability, and YOY analysis.
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and visual reports to present data in a clear, actionable format for leadership.
- Update financial forecast templates, track departmental expenses, and coordinate variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Build and maintain templates for sales, trade spend, COGS, and expense analysis to support business performance tracking.
- Provide ROI calculations for new projects and NPD launches and manage CAPEX budgets through CAR form checks and tracking reports.
- Drive enhancements in financial reporting processes and system data extraction to improve accuracy, efficiency, and business impact.
Forecast Process
- Update actual department expenses in financial forecast template and link files from each departments, Prepare-TM1 HQ format
- Upload TM1 web
IBP Measurement and Inventory Management
- Monitor and report key metrics related to sales, inventory, freight, SLOB, and forecast accuracy to support integrated business planning.
- Develop inventory processes and KPIs, prepare inventory reports, and ensure adherence to inventory policies.
- Analyze product returns and support new product development with profitability assessments and investment justification.
- Provide timely and relevant reports to assist in Sales & Operations Planning processes and decision-making.
Commercial Finance Analysis
- various dimensions i.e. by brand, by channel, by consumer segment and major customer profitability
- i)Performance by category by channel
ii) Performance by category by top 10 customers – Chain
iii) Performance by top 5 customers each area – IDP
iv) Key bundle pack effectiveness
v) BPR reports and others upon request
- Working closely with commercial finance to review and support sales and marketing teams to improve effectiveness and efficiency of spending.
- Desire template/process/finance model to improve efficiency between finance and other related function
Who are you?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., FMCG, F&B, manufacturing) is often preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
