Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will lead and coordinate continuous improvement efforts and manage ELS Project Leaders for Kajang DC at a site or within a functional area. Acts as change agent and subject matter expert to or within the business unit to drive and support ELS continuous improvements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :
- Monitor the team’s progress in applying the Enterprise Lean Sigma techniques
- Develop ELS training plans, site trainers and track progress.
- Facilitate and support Kaizen events.
- Act as a coach and catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all businesses
- Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed.
- Business/functional role for driving ELS throughout the business/function with sustainable results
- Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities and collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.
- Perform general management duties exercising usual authority concerning staff, performance appraisals, promotions and terminations. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
- Act as a coach, team role model and change-agent.
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
- Partner with site and functional leaders to train and deploy Enterprise Lean Sigma practices.
- Assists in selection of teams and individuals to work Enterprise Lean Sigma implementation opportunities.
- Use the Value Stream Map to establish the baseline process and measure progress.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in Enterprise Lean Sigma and process improvement projects.
- Certified Black Belt or Certified Green Belt is a must
- Hands-on experience inTPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is a must.
- Hands on exp in business/lean/operations experience, driving team excellence, and managing people.
- Proven leadership skills (lead, driving, motivation, process and people management skills).
- Successful and effective communicator.
