Responsibilities
- Define, document and review requirements.
- Understand project scope and coordinate with peer project and product managers.
- Write acceptance criteria for features and break them down into user stories / tasks.
- Ensure team has a clear understanding of the requirements.
- Clarify and groom requirements, manage scope changes, plan and prioritize incoming / backlog requests and ensure they are aligned with business goals.
- Track progress and make delivery possible.
- Assign team members for developing and ensure testing is complete before release.
- Coordinate and support release activities, including syncing with QA for validation.
- Provide initial estimations and actual effort for requirements.
- Conduct biweekly demos within the business unit and quarterly demos across the company.
- Support peer project managers and product owners.
- Assist incident managers and developers for solving incidents.
- Maintain close communication with stakeholders regarding dependencies, priorities, deliverables, risks, expectations, and other factors impacting delivery.
- Update and maintain the product roadmap for visibility into deliverables and timelines.
- Hold 1:1 discussions with team members and conduct internal evaluations.
- Continuously improve internal processes and contribute ideas for team and workflow optimization.
- Gather feedback on regular basis from stakeholders, users and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project, product management, or ownership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clear user stories, specs and product documentation.
- Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, ability to make trade-offs between scope, quality and time.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Monday, ProductPlan, and Timely.
- Understanding of web-development life cycle and basic knowledge of UX/UI principles.
- Negotiation skills are a plus.
