Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aruba System Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of enterprise network solutions across a broad portfolio including Enterprise Wi-Fi, Campus LAN, SD-WAN, SASE, and Data Center networking and HPE Aruba Networking (ION),. This role is both hands-on and customer-facing, involving technical execution (PoCs, configuration, & troubleshooting, presales task (proposals development, TORs and solution presentation), and partner ecosystem development.
The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, excellent communication abilities, and the ambition to achieve HPE Aruba Networking Expert level certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Execution
- Design, implement, and optimize HPE Aruba Networking solutions: Wi-Fi (APs, Controllers), Aruba CX switches, ClearPass, Aruba Central, EdgeConnect (SD-WAN), SASE, and Data Center fabric.
- Conduct and manage the successful Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for customers, demonstrating capabilities of HPE Aruba Networking solutions.
- Provide hands-on configuration and troubleshooting to help customer success.
- Provide Terms of Reference (TOR), High-Level Designs (HLD), and Low-Level Designs (LLD) based on client requirements.
Presales Role
- Develop and present technical proposals, solution, and architecture tailored to specific use cases.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to align solutions with customer needs and business goals.
- Deliver technical presentations and demos to internal teams, partners, and clients.
Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support the development of the Aruba partner ecosystem by building relationships, providing enablement sessions, and sharing technical expertise.
Certification & Growth
- Pursue achieve HPE Aruba Networking Expert level certifications as part of continuous technical development.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in enterprise networking, SD-WAN, SASE, and data center technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or systems engineering roles.
- Able to work under pressure and expectation based on HPE high performance culture
- Strong technical knowledge in:
- Campus Networking
- Wi-Fi planning and deployment
- CPPM and 802.1X/NAC
- SD-WAN and SASE
- Data Center fabric technologies
- Hands-on experience building PoCs for customers.
- Proven experience writing TORs, proposals, and design documents.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
