Job Position
Site SHE Supervisor is responsible for implementing and supervising day-to-day safety, health, and environmental (SHE) practices at the industrial waste-to-energy power plant. This includes overseeing both the construction and operation phases of the project to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate HSE policies. The position requires strong coordination with contractors, site teams, and the corporate HSE unit, while directly reporting to the Site Manager or Plant Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise site-level SHE activities to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate HSE policies.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and site inductions for contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor and ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems across all work zones.
- Oversee daily safety inspections and ensure that unsafe acts and conditions are corrected promptly.
- Assist in accident investigations, root cause analyses, and preparation of incident reports.
- Implement environmental controls such as dust suppression, noise mitigation, hazardous waste handling, and spill containment.
- Act as a key contact point for coordinating SHE compliance among all contractors and site personnel.
- Continue to oversee SHE compliance in routine operations, maintenance, and waste handling processes.
- Support the Plant Manager in managing emergency preparedness plans, mock drills, and equipment readiness.
- Conduct routine environmental monitoring (e.g., stack emissions, leachate, air/water quality) and ensure accurate reporting to authorities and head office.
- Maintain site SHE records including inspection reports, incident logs, training records, and regulatory submissions.
- Supervise a small team or designated contractor SHE officers to ensure safety measures are consistently enforced.
- Monitor and report the plant status environment (EIA and other regulations) to government
- Environment Management Representative (EMR) of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 by role of responsibilities of Gulf
- Ensure that all SHE procedures at the site are implemented in line with the HSE policies issued by the Head Office.
- Cooperate with Corporate HSE Team on audits, safety campaigns, policy updates, and training initiatives.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SHE reports for submission to the Site Manager and support data consolidation for head office reporting.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in site SHE supervision, preferably in power plant, energy, waste management, or industrial construction environments.
- Solid understanding of Thai safety laws, environmental regulations, and industrial waste handling requirements.
- Experience in both construction and plant operation safety will be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with EIA process, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 systems.
- Strong leadership and field-level coordination skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and decisively in emergencies.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).
