Responsibilities
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive supplier performance and proactively address potential risks and issues, with escalation as necessary.
- Coordinate with Materials Management and Procurement teams on potential raw material (RM) synergies with contract manufacturers or shortage issues.
- Execute purchasing activities and provide full support for Contract Manufacturing, ensuring completion of the purchase-to-pay cycle.
- Prepare and share monthly/quarterly performance reports, collaborating with related stakeholders.
- Perform inventory control and manage stock of designated materials.
- Provide input on supplier performance and lead improvement actions on production and operations matters.
- Collaborate with Product Development and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth and timely transitions from development through production to shipment.
- Ensure supplier volume allocation is in line with the aligned annual strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the jewelry industry.
- Strong ability to build consensus and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability in solving complex business problems with sustainable results (both financial and non-financial).
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance trade-offs and make difficult decisions.
- Strong planning and execution skills; able to handle both volume and complexity effectively.
