We are looking for a skilled quality assurance automation engineer who, along with our excellent software development team, will be responsible for working on test automation for Auctions. Auctions is a system to enable Central Banks (CB) and Debt Management Offices (DMO) to support the complete end-to-end workflow of a debt (or currency) auctions.
You will also be working closely with clients and multi-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive, scalable and well-structured test cases and test automation scripts to ensure that the software quality meets the company standards and serves business needs.
- Perform manual and automated testing by following test framework and quality standard to fulfill functional and non-functional requirements for Auctions system.
- Track, monitor, follow up, and proactively address product quality issues.
- Hands-on preliminary analysis of test script failures and product defects.
- Participate in test script reviews to ensure quality and stability of automation tests.
- Interact constantly and dynamically with Product, Development, and other teams to clarify business requirements.
Qualification:
- Degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Have a good knowledge of software testing process, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Knowledge of agile software development is a plus.
- Experience in test automation tools/software such as C# .NET, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Python, etc.
- Experience with database technologies and knowledge of SQL commands.
- Experience working with version control tools e.g. GIT and CI/CD tools like GitHub, GitLab, Bamboo, Octopus, TeamCity, etc.
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Jira, and Confluence will be a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Azure or other cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- Detailed oriented, self-driven, self-motivated, self-managed and proactive.
- Ability to take ownership, drive solutions to completion by reaching out, asking questions and doing whatever it takes to clarify requirements/issues.
