St Andrews International School Bangkok is one of 88 schools in the Nord Anglia Education (NAE) family. Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – EAL
What You’ll Do:
- Support students who are learning English as an additional language in both classroom and small group settings
- Assist teachers in adapting and differentiating materials to meet language needs
- Work closely with the EAL and class teachers to help students access the curriculum
- Foster student confidence and independence in using English
- Monitor and report on student progress, both academic and social
- Encourage a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Support students during transitions, playtimes, and other school activities when needed
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and events as required
Who We’re Looking For:
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
- Experience working with children, preferably in an international or bilingual school
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward student development
- Team player with the ability to follow instructions and also take initiative
- Understanding of cultural diversity and inclusive practices
- Degree in Education or related field (preferred but not essential)
