What you'll do:
Follows established engineering principles to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organization's standards of quality and cost. Objective is to provide input to optimize the manufacturing process.
In detail, you will:
Support in Design Verification Trial (DVT) & Manufacturing Verification Trial (MVT)
Identify solution for the improvement of the existing manufacturing processes focusing on productivity, labor efficiency and machinery utilization
Responsible for work-station design in assembly, sub-assembly & technological areas
Design plant layout
Support efficiency and improvement programs concerning product quality, safety, energy
Design and develop specification, acquisition, installation and commissioning of new assembly line, material handling equipment, system and related equipment
Ensure equipment, jig, fixture and product quality requirements are met
Support and coordinate with Product Development and Industrial Design in the new product definition phase
Ensure Safety on all processes and procedures
Issue Work Instructions or JDS
Lead the PFMEA for the new projects
Conduct the process training for shop floor operators
Ensure Environmental targets and requirements are met
Work within project budget and time plan
Qualifications:
University Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of experience in industrial process in manufacturing industry. preferably from the appliances business
Experience in new model, new product launch in manufacturing
Experience in assembly process and Lean manufacturing
Experience in project management
Knowledge:

Where you'll be:
You will be based our Rayong plant and report to Assistant Lean Engineering Manager.
