What makes you remarkable?
Immigration & Work Permit Processing:
- Manage and coordinate the application, renewal, and cancellation of work permits, visas, employment passes, and other immigration documents
- Ensure all immigration-related paperwork is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines
- Maintain an up-to-date database of employees’ work permit and visa statuses, ensuring timely renewals
- Provide support and guidance to employees on immigration procedures, timelines, and required documentation
Compliance & Legal Requirements:
- Stay updated on immigration laws, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance with government requirements
- Liaise with immigration authorities and government agencies to resolve issues and ensure smooth processing of permits
- Assist in audits and reporting related to work permits and visa compliance
- Ensure company policies align with legal requirements related to expatriate employment
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external immigration consultants, law firms, and service providers as needed
- Work closely with HR, Resourcing team and the Operation to support workforce mobility and ensure legal work authorization for employees
- Engage in clear and effective communication to adeptly manage the expectations of stakeholders at every level of expatriate involvement and foster collaborative relationships with government authorities to explore and implement viable solutions to challenges that may arise
- Act as a point of contact for employees requiring assistance with immigration-related queries
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain proper records of all immigration-related documents, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility
- Generate reports on work permit and visa status, renewals, and compliance metrics
- Prepare supporting documents such as letters of support, company registrations, and other necessary paperwork
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Min 3 years of experience in immigration, work permit processing, or related HR functions
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws and work permit regulations
- Experience liaising with government authorities and external service providers
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational company or handling expatriates
- Business acumen and problem-solving skill with influencing communication skill is preferred
- Familiarity with digital or automated immigration processing systems
- Fluency in Thai and professional communication in English (email and verbal)
