GSO - Branch Operations Analyst - Associate
Position Overview
The Branch Operations Associate would be responsible for timely completion and accurate processing of trades matching, clearing and settlement of the bank securities services clients’ investment (equities and fixed income) for both domestic and foreign markets, including performing relevant controls within own area of responsibility and compliance with internal as well as regulatory requirement, and must also ensure timely escalation of any operational issue and risks to the line manager

Your key responsibilities:
Responsible for processing of trades matching and settlement across all products by using all internal and external regulatory systems and platforms.
Perform to process clients’ instructions and settlements instructions are sent to the relevant markets in a timely manner and meeting market deadline without any failed trades e.g. pre-matching and match trade details with counterparties and monitoring to ensure accurate settlement of trades within market deadlines.
Instruction initiated by clients are process in accordance with service standards agreed with the clients in the SLA.
Timely reporting and closely follow up of trades problems and failed trades to clients.
Actively monitor and priorities all daily task within role to ensure completeness in timely and accurate manner.
Liaise with internal teams (operation, compliance, risk) and external parties (broker or other custodians and clearing house) to ensure smooth settlement.
Management of FX transactions related to custody transactions.
Assisting for business project enhancement and participating UAT or IWT test as required.
Regulatory reporting preparation to clients and regulator as required
Back up coverage within the team and carry out other tasks assigned by Line Manager related to Global Securities Operations
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in custody operation, securities settlements, or asset servicing.
Good communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of securities trade settlement and custody operation.
High sense of accuracy with strong attention to detail and effective control over processes.
