Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage in the overall supervision, strategic management, and operational excellence of all Food and Beverage outlets and services within the hotel, and will act as the Director of Food & Beverage in their absence. As a pivotal leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring that every dining and beverage experience truly embodies our inspirational dream to show the world that true luxury is inclusive, by making special happen and turning moments into special memories for our guests. You will foster an environment where our colleagues are the heart and soul of our hotels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership & Excellence:
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in overseeing the daily operations of all eight dining and bar venues, including the rooftop terrace, in-room dining, and supporting banqueting and events, ensuring seamless service and consistently high-quality guest experiences.
- Ensure that every guest interaction is an invitation to surprise, delivering exceptional service that exceeds expectations and creates personalized experiences.
- Drive revenue generation and manage cost control for all F&B outlets, contributing to the department's profitability and reflecting our commitment to consistently deliver a balanced scorecard.
- Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to develop innovative menus, enhance food and beverage quality, and ensure creative presentations that support the luxurious image of the hotel and reflect our belief that true luxury today is inclusive.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all F&B areas, in accordance with hotel policies and local regulations.
- Ensure proper care, security, and maintenance of all F&B equipment and assets.
- Guest Experience & Innovation:
- Actively solicit guest feedback and respond to comments, ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery and product offerings.
- Identify market trends and guest preferences to introduce new concepts, promotions, and experiences that keep our F&B offerings fresh, exciting, and competitive.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to promote F&B outlets and events, acting as a brand ambassador to maximize business for the hotel.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of a high-performing F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate F&B colleagues, conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to support their professional growth and development.
- Develop, conduct, and maintain comprehensive training programs for team members, focusing on enhancing their skills, product knowledge, and service standards, fostering a culture where we are connectors.
- Prepare and manage weekly staff schedules, meticulously balancing anticipated business needs, operating budgets, and our unwavering standards of service.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings to ensure effective communication, address operational issues, and reinforce our commitment to celebrating and connecting our past, present, and future.
- Financial & Administrative Management:
- Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenditures and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee inventory management for all F&B products, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Monitor, handle, and process all billing and payment procedures according to Accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.

Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred.
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage management, wine, or culinary arts will be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of Food and Beverage operations, with a strong understanding of both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Assistant F&B Manager, Outlet Manager) within a luxury hotel or high-volume F&B establishment.
- Proven track record in delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, managing financial performance, and leading diverse teams.
- Fluent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Thai is a must, essential for creating truly personalized and approachable experiences that connect genuinely with our diverse local and international guests and colleagues, ensuring every interaction turns into a special memory.
- Proficiency in a third language will be considered a significant advantage.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint, and F&B POS systems.
