Position Summary
Reporting to a Team Leader in Malaysia, the appointee will be responsible for maintenance of Thailand fixed income data in a timely, accurate and complete manner, which includes bond terms and conditions data, real time market data, as well as projects.
Key Responsibilities
Collect data from market sources and add them into bond database (EJV) as per LSEG global procedure in an accurate, timely and complete manner
Monitor fixed income market data and liaise with various content/technical groups to resolve issues
Keep improving data quality through Business Process Improvements
Plan and fulfill data enhancement projects and assist required data projects/testing
Research the fixed income market with deep market understanding and ensure the latest market convention/practice is reflected in our database/products correctly
Resolve queries from customers via helpdesk or from frontlines and business in a timely and professional manner
Maintain work procedures and improve efficiencies
Relationship management with data sources, sales team in the Thailand market
Support team members to achieve high quality data
Deliver effective training for team members to achieve high professional operational standards
Cultivate a learning and positive work environment
Demonstrate effective use of tools necessary to perform the analyst’s duties
Provide need-based assistance to Team Leaders
Collate statistical information to assist operational management
Preferred Skills and Experience
Interest in Finance
Fluency in Thai and English
Experience in sourcing information
Practical knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to details
Self motivated and pro-active
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of Fixed Income markets
Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance or financial mathematics or equivalent experience
SQL skills or experience
