We’re looking for a corporate communications professional with deep experience in internal communication, executive messaging, and corporate PR
As Assistant Lead, Corporate Communications, you will drive internal communication strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, strengthen employee engagement, and support global public relations projects that reinforce Bridgestone’s reputation and transformation journey.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in corporate communications, PR strategy, and internal stakeholder engagement — especially those who’ve worked in large organizations or with multinational teams.
Responsibilities
Internal Communications (Primary Focus: 70%)
Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with company culture and transformation.
Create engaging messaging for employees, leadership updates, and executive announcements.
Manage platforms such as the intranet and internal newsletters across regional teams.
Produce internal campaigns and engagement assets in partnership with HR, leadership, and other functions.
Corporate Communications & PR
Liaise with Bridgestone Japan (HQ) and regional teams to roll out corporate messaging.
Coordinate press releases, media materials, and reputation-focused content.
Manage external PR agencies and support strategic media relations during key events or issues.
Represent BSAPIC in global PR projects and ensure message alignment across group companies.
Requirements
7–8 years of experience in corporate communications or PR (agency or in-house), preferably in a regional/APAC role.
Excellent command of English (TOEIC > 900 / IELTS > 7.0).
Proven experience in content creation, campaign execution, and cross-cultural communication.
A proactive communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience managing both internal communications and external media relations.
Basic understanding of digital channels, business/financial acumen, and crisis communication.
